NEW DELHI: Huawei said that it is driving discussions with Indian telecom operators to help them evolve 4G networks, which will ultimately allow them to migrate to 5G technology in coming years. They added that 5G will address the needs of new stakeholders and he network architecture must be entirely different. The telecom department recently asked the telecom regulator to suggest the starting price for 5G airwaves, which could make their debut in the next sale, as well as 4G bandwidth.

NEW DELHI: Huawei Telecommunications India has made a contribution of infrastructural equipment to the Government Hospital of Thoracic Medicine , Tambaram sanatorium, Chennai. As part of the contribution, the company will ensure hospital's operational needs and maintenance of the lifesaving installed equipment for one year.The equipment is expected to benefit an average of 1100 patients per day. Huawei will equip the hospital with battery operated patient carts, oxygen lines with flow meters, bore well and a RO plant.The facilities being provided as Huawei's CSR, are expected to benefit over 200000 patients annually."Bridging the digital divide and contributing to society are pillars for Huawei's CSR program in India, with a strong emphasis on education and community development.
