Both phones received FCC certification recently and could make their debut outside China in the coming weeks.Huawei Nova 2 Plus is a mid-ranger that features a large 5.5-inch full HD (1080p) display and a massive 3,340 mAh battery. The two smartphones listed at FCC are two variations of the same device, which is why we believe the United States won't be the only country where the Nova 2 Plus smartphones will be available for purchase very soon.Huawei BAC-L03 is the single SIM version of the Nova 2 Plus, while the BAC-L23 is the dual-SIM variant. However, that's about to change since the Nova 2 Plus has just been spotted at FCC (Federal Communications Commission) where they have been approved for a U.S. release.The smartphones go by model numbers Huawei BAC-L03 and BAC-L23, whereas the Chinese version has a different model number (BAC-AL00). Huawei's handset comes with 12-megapixel and 8-megapixel cameras on the back, along with an impressive 20-megapixel selfie camera.Huawei Nova 2 Plus runs android 7.0 Nougat operating system and costs around €400 in China, but it might be priced higher in other regions.

The FCC is looking at cellular test reports for the BAC-L03 and the BAC-L23, referring to the Huawei Nova 2 and Nova 2 Plus respectively. The Mate S series was one of its more recent tries before we came to the launch of the Nova series. Between its two flagship series, Huawei has been looking for a mid-range series separate from its youthful sub-brand, Honor, that could punch its own. The Nova 2 and Nova 2 Plus went on sale in China a couple of months ago with dual cameras, unique colors — well, as unique as the P10's colors — and mid-range price tags. Perhaps we'll be able to see them outside of that land soon and maybe over in the United States.
