Ken (Houkun) Hu is the deputy chairman of Huawei's board of directors and rotating CEO and member of the executive management team. With almost thirty years of experience in the telecom sector, Hu chairs Huawei's human resources committee where he is responsible for leadership and organisational development. Hu joined Huawei smartphone in 1990. He too served the firm as chief strategy and marketing officer, chief sales and service officer, president of global sales, regional president of Huawei smartphone Latin America and president of Huawei's Chinese market.

Boasting a new 5.9-inch 2:1 display and some impressive specs, including an 8-core Kirin 659 chipset, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, the Nova 2i too has the distinction of being the first Huawei smartphone handset to feature both front (13MP+2MP) and back (16MP+2MP) dual-lens cameras. Featuring a unibody design with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, the Nova 2i too packs a 3,340mAh battery and runs Huawei's Android-7 based EMUI interface. The Huawei smartphone Nova 2i is priced at $499 and going to be obtainable at JB Hi-Fi and Harvey Norman stores from October 25, 2017 and at Vodafone from November 2017.
