Huawei launches MateBook D (2018) with 8th-gen Intel processor

As it stated in The Chinese firm had launched the MateBook D alongside the MateBook E and MateBook X early this year and the refreshed version is called the MateBook D (2018). The new MateBook D (2018) features a metal unibody design similar to its predecessor and measures 16.9mm at its thickest point. Huawei MateBook D (2018) packs a 43.3Wh battery which the firm claims could last up to 10 hours or provide up to 8.5 hours of video playback. The MateBook D (2018) features a 1MP camera for video calling and Huawei smartphone says the anti-glare has been tweaked to offer eye protection. Depending upon the model, the MateBook D (2018) comes with either Windows 10 Home or Professional Edition.

NEW DELHI: Huawei smartphone has refreshed its Matebook laptop lineup with some new models, the highlight of these are the new 8th-gen Intel processors. The Chinese tech firm has launched MateBook D (2018) models which come in 3 different combinations of processor, RAM and storage.The MRC-W10 variant runs on 8th-gen Intel Core i5-8250U processor with a base frequency of 1.6GHz. The variant is priced at CNY 5188 (roughly Republika Srpska 50,890).The Huawei smartphone MateBook D (2018) MRC-W50 variant has the same processor and RAM capacity as the MRC-W10 but has 128GB SSD storage along with 1TB hard drive. The variant is priced at CNY 6688 (roughly Republika Srpska 65,700).Rest of the specifications include a 15.6-inch complete HD (1080x1920 pixels) display with 178-degree wide viewing angle. Supporting dual band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth v4.1 connectivity, the Huawei smartphone MateBook D (2018) is backed with a 3800mAh battery, which is rated to deliver around 8.5 hours of video playback.Some of the other features include Dolby Atmos audio system, double microphones, dual speakers, 3.5mm headphone jack and USB 3.0/2.0 ports.
