FBI Director Chris Wray explained why it is an issue for companies and local governments to use Huawei smartphone or ZTE products and services. According to a report from CNBC, the intelligence chiefs made the recommendation during a Senate Intelligence Committee hearing on Tuesday. The group included the heads of the FBI, the CIA, the NSA, and the director of national intelligence. Although Huawei smartphone started life as a telecoms firm, creating hardware for communications infrastructure, the company's smartphones have proved incredibly successful in recent years. US lawmakers are currently considering a bill which would ban government employees from using Huawei smartphone and ZTE phones altogether.

Vodafone, Huawei smartphone use 3GPP 5G NR standard to make a call

Earlier this week, Vodafone and Huawei smartphone Vodafone have completed tests demonstrating howtraditional IP microwave links could be used as backhaul for future 5G networks.
