Although Huawei smartphone started life as a telecoms firm, creating hardware for communications infrastructure, the company's smartphones have proved incredibly successful in recent years. US lawmakers are currently considering a bill which would ban government employees from using Huawei smartphone and ZTE phones altogether.

Vodafone, Huawei smartphone use 3GPP 5G NR standard to make a call
