Huawei working on smartphone with a display hole for the camera instead of a notch
Huawei working on smartphone with a display hole for the camera instead of a notch19 July 2018According to a Korean media outlet, Huawei is working on a strange smartphone design that could potentially mean the end of a notch era. The design features a display cutout for the camera, only this time it's smaller and surrounded by screen on all sides. Instead of placing the front-facing snapper on the notch, the engineers want to put it away from the top bezel so they can squeeze a bit more display on the front and get rid of the notch. Also, we can't get over the notion that Huawei might be doing this for marketing purposes only - to brag about screen-to-body ratio. Then again, we'd be glad to be proven wrong and there to be an actual practical use case to this. How Huawei and Leica made a camera phone so good, we ditched our DSLR

But it is in the P20 Pro and its remarkable camera that everything seems to have come together. Entering into the main production building reveals a gallery of historical photos shot on Leica cameras. Across from the gallery is a collection of Leica cameras, from antique screw-mount rangefinders to medium-format digital heavyweights. But being the best phone camera isn't itself sufficient to win over real photographers.Huawei MateBook X Pro is a cheaper MacBook alternative, powerful, polished and attractive – only camera holds it back
After some time with the MateBook X Pro, however, I can say that the change should be welcomed by most. The MateBook X Pro weighs an extra 0.3kg and is 2mm thicker. The MateBook X Pro looks very similar to its predecessor, which means it also still looks just like an Apple MacBook. The MateBook X Pro uses a 3,000 x 2,000 resolution touch screen display. Two signature features from last year's MateBook X also return: the one-touch power button/fingerprint scanner combo and the Dolby Atmos speakers.collected by :Lara Phillip
