Huawei launches Middle East music streaming app

Huawei has launched a music streaming service with no commercial interruptions across five markets in the Middle East. The Huawei Music Service app is will be pre-installed as an official free Music store in all Huawei devices with operating systems EMUI 5.0, 5.1, 8.0 and 8.1. The Arabic music service will be available in UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Iraq and Jordan. In addition to this song, Elissa has also recorded 15 songs that will be launched on Huawei Music Service on 26th July. Justin Chen, MD of Huawei MENA Consumer Cloud Service Dept, commented on the launch: "We are delighted to launch Huawei Music Service for our MENA users.

Speaking at the opening of the CSIC on Thursday morning, Huawei Australia chair John Lord said the centre shows how Huawei is committed to innovation and research and development (R&D) in Australia. According to Huawei Australia CTO Dr David Soldani, the centre will be used for designing, developing, and testing solutions across 5G and IoT, driving an open industry ecosystem, and accelerating digital economy transformation. Huawei conducts 5G trials in Singapore with M1Huawei will continue trialling 5G with Singaporean carrier M1 for the next year.

China Mobile launches cloud-based VR service with Huawei

referring to China Mobile has been experimenting with a VR service in Fujian province, with equipment from Huawei and other partners. Fujian Mobile has pulled together a VR solution that covers platforms, networks, terminals and content, enabling it to launch its "AND Cloud VR" video service for home users. It claims a reduction in VR hardware costs of 70 to 80 per cent. Instead, Fujian Mobile has upgraded FTTH connections to those lucky consumers who have fibre, with bandwidths covering 50Mbit/s, 100Mbit/s and 1Gbit/s.
