Samsung just unveiled the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus this week, and both are absolute stunners in terms of design and functionality alike. We're impressed with the Huawei P10 Plus, but can it really hold strong from an all-out assault from Samsung? We're not all that deep into 2017, but we've already had a certifiable five-star android flagship in our midst: the Huawei P10 Plus. While the regular Huawei P10 was just a tad underwhelming for its full-bodied flagship price, the extra-large edition corrects our concerns with the standard model and has found a spot on our current list of the best smartphones available today.

SINGAPORE - Huawei launched its new P10 and P10 Plus smartphones on Friday (March 31) at an event at Ion Orchard. In addition to a dual Leica camera setup at the rear, the P10 phones also has a front Leica camera. Unlike last year's Huawei P9, the fingerprint sensor is now at the front of the P10 phones. Both phones have an identical design with the P10 having a smaller 5.1-inch screen and a 3,200mAh battery compared to the P10 Plus' 5.5-inch display and 3,750mAh battery. The P10 will be available from Saturday at $798 (64GB storage and 4GB memory) while the P10 Plus will go on sale from April 15 at $998 (128GB storage and 6GB memory).
