Huawei Q22 set-top box supports Dolby Vision HDR

according to Huawei and Dolby Laboratories on Tuesday announced the world's first set-top box for Internet Protocol television (IPTV) which supports Dolby Vision high-dynamic-range (HDR) technology. The Huawei smartphone Q22 set-top box going to transform the TV experience in the home with delivering greater brightness and contrast as well as a palette of rich colours, Huawei smartphone said. "It is exciting to see Huawei smartphone deliver the first IPTV set-top box with Dolby Vision support, adding to the ever-expanding list of Dolby Vision ecosystem partners," says Giles Baker, Senior Vice President, Consumer Entertainment Group, Dolby Laboratories. "Providing our customers with a spectacular HDR entertainment experience at home is a priority for Huawei," added Guipei Chen, Vice President, Huawei smartphone Video Domain. "Working with Dolby to incorporate Dolby Vision into our set-top box product allows us to enable IPTV content providers to deliver content with dramatic imaging, incredible brightness, breathtaking contrast and a fuller range of colours to Dolby Vision-enabled TVs," Chen said.
