Win! A Huawei Mate 10 By Being A Massive Geek

Huawei could detect its own "Made for Huawei" accessories for the Mate 10

referring to Code found with XDA Developers indicates a version of Huawei's latest premium phone, the Mate 10 Pro, going to be sold out of AT&T. The firmware in question showed a Mate 10 Pro loaded with AT&T's applications and software. It sold 39 million phones in the third quarter of the year, IDC study showed last week, around 7 million less than Apple. The Mate 10 Pro is the company's attempt to battle big-screen competitors like the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, Google Pixel 2 XL and Apple's iPhone 8 Plus. Months before Apple launched the iPhone 7 Plus, Huawei's P9 smartphone was equipped with 2 Leica-branded shooters on its back.

According to GizChina, Huawei smartphone could detect a "Made for Huawei" accessories programme for its Mate 10 lineup to pattern what Google has done with its "Made for Google" accessories programme with the Pixel 2 series. On the list of first accessories is a rumored USB Type-C-to-HDMI adapter to connect the Mate 10 or Mate 10 Pro and a desktop. Huawei could always choose to name the accessories programme "Made for Huawei" or "Made for Mate" ("Mate" being the smartphone series) and partner with third-party industrialists to design cases and accessories specifically for the Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro. A tailor-made accessories programme could benefit Huawei smartphone in the long run, as its smartphones would have accessories obtainable for smartphone buyers. Little next is known about the "Made for Huawei" accessories programme at this point, but with the Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro being new children on the smartphone block, we have no doubt which more data going to pop up soon.
