Huawei MediaPad M5

There's a new rumour about the firm presenting a new tablet called the MediaPad M5 and it was spotted on FCC just recently, together with its three-dimensional render images. Let's take a look at it and the speculated tech-specs below.

Now, its three-dimensional renders alongside which of the 10.1" model have surfaced online. MediaPad M5 (8.4" Model)The 8.4" MediaPad M5 has a pill-shaped button on the lower bezel. MediaPad M5 (10.1" Model)The bigger MediaPad M5 has received a slight redesign on the front. The 10.1" MediaPad M3 launched with a Lite moniker and a Snapdragon 435 processor instead of Kirin 650 like the 8.4" variant. Now which it seems to have ditched the "Lite" suffix, it may too feature high end-specs like the 8.4" model.

Huawei MediaPad M5 passes out of the FCC signalling an imminent release

as declared in Today the apparent successor to their MediaPad M3 cleared the FCC. We have seen leaks regarding the MediaPad M5 for a couple of months this time with at first it being though to be called the MediaPad M4. Of course, Chinese companies going to avoid the number 4 in any product and as such the M4 has apparently been skipped, becoming the MediaPad M5 according to the FCC documentation. Very few details have been revealed with the FCC documents aside from the model number, SHT-W09, and the battery size — 4980mAh. At the same time renders of the MediaPad M5 have too been leaked showing it to be very similar to it's predecessor, with a hardware home button on the front.
