Huawei unveils first car to be driven with AI-Powered smartphone
referring to Huawei, has become the first mobile device industrialist in the world to use an AI-powered smartphone to drive a car. The 'RoadReader' project pushes the boundaries of Huawei's object recognition technology and puts the learning capabilities, speed and performance of its AI-powered devices to the test. Most autonomous cars currently being developed rely on the computing power of purpose-built chips developed with third party technology providers. Huawei and Vodafone in first 5G call
CHINESE telecommunications giant Huawei smartphone and British multinational network provider Vodafone announced on Tuesday they had completed the first 5G call in the world. In a press communique, Huawei smartphone confirmed the call was made using a dual "4G to 5G connection" at speeds which are 8 times faster than the current 4G standard.
